Tasting Notes :

The high malt content (70%) of McFadden conveys a full but smooth flavor.

Robust and full-bodied Recipe of Whiskey and Malt. Matured in Bourbon, Sherry, and Irish cask oak. The Bourbon oak casks convey a clean and smooth flavor, the Sherry cask oak adds character while the Irish oak brings a pleasant spicyness and peppery attribute to McFadden's.

Color: Medium amber gold.

Aroma: Medium intensity malty, spicy, oily. Some vanilla, dry woody notes.

Taste: Medium bodied, dominant dry/raw woody taste. Also oily, spicy, malty, dry tannins, slight toffee.

Finish: Dry tannins, smooth and lasting pleasant finish.
